A partir de octubre el año de los cambios drásticos
Como cada año, en los meses de noviembre y diciembre aparecen publicados los comics con fecha de portada del mes de enero y febrero del año siguiente. El año 2010 ha terminado con la larguísima saga de Brainiac que empezó en el 2009 y han cambiado de equipo creativo para la colección ordinaria de SUPERMAN al introducir a J. Michael Straczynski como guionista con la saga "Grounded" en la que Superman recorre a pie todos los Estados Unidos. También ha terminado el año con el ejemplar, de momento único, "Superman Earth One" cuyo éxito ha probocado el que Straczynski se dedique a realizar una continuación para el 2011. De momento en enero de 2011 la saga "Grounded" va por su parte 4 de 12 que tiene que tener.
El nuevo año comienza con el número uno de la nueva serie SUPERBOY cuyo protagonista no es el joven Superman sino Conner Kent, un clon creado en laboratorio pero que ahora protagoniza su propia serie que comienza precisamente preguntándose a sí mismo cómo sería si hubiera nacido en Smallville con padres humanos y no en un laboratorio.
Continúa la serie ACTION COMICS que, vergonzosamente para mí, sigue sin protagonizarla Superman y está dedicada a Lex Luthor y últimamente a Jimmy Olsen en el mismo cuaderno habiendo introducido el personaje Chloe Sulllivan de la serie de televisión "Smallville". A partir de le número 900 se produce el regreso de Superman a su revista iniciática. También continúan como series regulares "SUPERMAN - BATMAN y SUPERGIRL.
Con fecha de portada octubre de 2011, aparece JUSTICE LEAGUE #1 rompiendo todo lo anterior y comenzando la nueva etapa que DC comics llama "The New 52" donde sus 52 colecciones vuelven a empezar todas desde el número con cambios drásticos, sobre todo en la colección de Superman que le quitan el calzón rojo, le ponen cuello, en fin, le cambian el traje, pero no sólo eso, ya no está casado con Lois, ésta tiene otra pareja y... en fin, ya lo iréis viendo. Siendo números 1, de JUSTICE LEAGUE ya hay cinco ejemplares con portada diferente y tres de ACTION COMICS.
